Milliken Announces Dates For 2006 Laundry Sales Seminar

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (July 3, 2006) – Milliken & Co. will host its annual Laundry Sales seminar at its Spartanburg, S.C., headquarters September 24-28, 2006.

The seminar attracts general managers, sales managers and sales representatives from around the world and takes them through various sales techniques used in the industry. Guest speakers provide real-life scenarios designed to increase attendee knowledge, awareness of customers' needs and increase motivation.

Presentations on topics such as leadership styles, targeted account selling and more will be given, as will plant tours of Milliken. This year's featured guest speaker is international speaker and corporate trainer David Rabiner of Rabiner Resources.

"The seminar is a great learning experience and networking tool," said Kevin Keyes, manager of Milliken's Laundry Service Team. "Attendees learn a lot from the classes and are able to interact with their peers from throughout the industry. They always take something away from our seminar that helps their business. Our seminar is a great investment because attendees leave here excited, with new ideas and with solutions to problems they face on a daily basis."

There is no charge for the seminar, however, attendees are responsible for transportation costs to and from Spartanburg. All lodging, meals and transportation during the seminar are provided by Milliken.
