David Hassen Joins Milliken's Napery Division

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (March 30, 2006) – Milliken & Company’s Napery Fabrics Business has hired David Hassen, it was announced today. Hassen will serve as the South Central Territory Manager for Milliken's well-known and well-respected Laundry Services Team (LST) group.

Hassen is a six-year veteran of the company and most recently served as an Industrial Engineer at Milliken's Sharon Plant in South Carolina. He also held positions as Senior Production Manger, Production Systems Specialist, and as a Plant Process Improvement (PPI) Specialist at the Sharon Plant. Hassen also served as PPI Specialist at Milliken's Hatch Plant in North Carolina.

"This is a great addition to Milliken's Napery Fabrics Business and our Laundry Service Team," said Rick Jarrard, Milliken Napery Fabrics Business Manager. "David comes to us with a lot of experience and knowledge of our business. He will immediately be able to step in and provide our customers with the outstanding service that they expect."

Originally from Charlotte, N.C., Hassen grew up and went to high school in Ocala, Fla. He and his wife Elizabeth currently live in Spartanburg, S.C. Hassen is a graduate of Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C. with a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics.
